National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities The National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities
(NACDD) is a national membership organization representing the 55 State
and Territorial Councils on Developmental Disabilities. NACDD is a
501(c) 3 organization with the purpose of promoting and enhancing the
outcomes of our member councils in developing and sustaining inclusive
communities and self directed services and supports for individuals with
developmental disabilities.
National Council on Independent Living The
National Council on Independent Living is the longest-running national
cross-disability, grassroots organization run by and for people with
disabilities. Founded in 1982, NCIL represents thousands of
organizations and individuals including: Centers for Independent Living
(CILs), Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs), individuals with
disabilities, and other organizations that advocate for the human and
civil rights of people with disabilities throughout the United States.
